I’m Daniel – I’ve lost over 150 pounds following the principles outlined on the site. My goal is to share all of the tips and lessons I learned along the way to help you reach your goals.

Losing weight should not be complicated

The weight loss process shouldn’t feel super restrictive. We don’t need to avoid eliminate our favorite foods or change our entire lifestyle to be healthy. A healthy lifestyle is sustainable through balance and my site is here to help you achieve that.

Why should you trust me?

I've been in your shoes before. I've fallen into every diet trap, tried every fad diet, and been through the endless cycle of yo-yo dieting. Despite being overweight for much of my life, I've always had a passion for sports and fitness. It wasn't until after my playing days ended that my weight really began to spike due to such a large decrease in my physical activity level. At my highest, my weight reached 315 pounds. Up to that point I had tried various diets, made some progress, but as soon as the diet ended I alway regained the weight. It was 2020 during the COVID lockdown that changed everything for me. At that time my college courses had all moved online and with all of the additional free time I began finding fun ways to get active and I began tracking my calories.
